After overcoming the first set of challenges in Batad, Banaue and being rewarded with beautiful sights of rice terraces and a vigorous waterfall called Tappiya, it was time to leave the province of Ifugao for the next one, the hub of the Cordillera region. Literally named Mountain Province, this central division is bounded by ranges of mountain peaks everywhere. With roads leading to other adjacent territories such as Ifugao, Kalinga and Benguet, this province is considered a jump-off point to exciting destinations in the region.
